I am Dipanjan, an aerial and landscape photographer based out of Mumbai, India.

I bought my first camera in my second year of graduation back in 2014. Ever since my first solo trek to Hampta Pass, Himachal Pradesh - I have taken an active interest in photography. Over the next eight years, I have travelled to the farthest corners of our beautiful planet in order to look for unique and non-conventional images. I've always been attracted towards images which give my audience a sense of wonder.

I am really passionate about traveling, mostly to the mountains and the faraway places on Earth. The feeling of enjoying an otherworldly landscape all by myself gives me pleasure and a sense of joy like nothing else. My creative style focuses on finding unique aerial perspectives of natural landscape, which is not often seen before - which makes you ask the question of what exactly you're looking at. I've considered it a mission in my life to chase them forever and bring them in front of everyone who may not be fortuante enough to experience them. My next goal is to photograph the receeding icebergs of Antractica.

My biggest confidence boost in my short photography career was when one of my aerial images made it to the finals of ROAM Awards in 2019 and one of eternal inspiration Chris Burkard ended up announcing my name on the stage (you can watch it here from 26:54 to 27:12). I have won many international awards since then, but this will forever be the most precious.

My aerial images have been recognized worldwide and won multiple prestigious accolades. They have been published in major international press such as The Guardian, BBC, DailyMail, National Geographic etc. I've had my images exhibited in multiple countries like India, Canada, USA, Australia, Romania, Japan etc and published in multiple travel magazines.
